Central Bureau of Investigation invites for the following posts:-

Senior Advisor (Foreign Trade or Foreign Exchange)

Number of Post: 1

Method of selection for the Post: Deputation (including short-term contract).

Classification of the Post: General Central Service Group’A’ Gazetted Non-Ministerial

Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000/- Grade Pay Rs.8900/-

Age Limit: Maximum age limit for appointment by Deputation (including short-term contract) shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.

Eligibility Conditions for appointment on deputation (including short-term contract):
Officer under the Central/State Government/Union Territories/Government Financial Institutions (including Banks)/Public Sector Financial Institutions (including Banks).
(a)(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the PB-4 (Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs.8700/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department; and

Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-

Essential:
(i) Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
(ii) Twelve years experience of inspection/vigilance/operational work in the field of foreign trade or foreign exchange.

Desirable:
Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognised university or equivalent.OR A qualification recognised for enrollment in the register of members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.OR Diploma in Taxation Laws from a recognised university or Institute or equivalent.OR Post Graduate Degree or Diploma from a recognised university or equivalent of one year’s duration in Foreign Trade or International Business.

Period of Depuation: The period of deputation (including short-term contract) including period of deputation (including short-term contract) in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organisation/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed five years.

How To Apply:

(i) Cadre Clearance
(ii) bio-data(in triplicate) as in the proforma given (Annexure-II)
(iii) Attested photocopies of ACRs for the last five years.
(iv) Vigilance Clearance
(v) Integrity Certificate and
(vi) Statement giving details of major or minor penalties imposed on the officer,if any during the last 10 years.
